Bridge to Nowhere

This is a giclée print of the silhouette of The Bridge To Nowhere. It's situated at the east end of Belhaven Bay, near the mouth of the Biel Water, Dunbar. When the tide is out the bridge leads to Belhaven Sands, but when the tide is in, the bridge is completely surrounded by the sea. It was built as part of Dunbar's Victorian beach improvement scheme and was renovated in the 1970s when the nearby John Muir Country Park was formed.

These prints are created by firstly outlining the historical monument to create a silhouette, and then layering that artwork over a section of the specified area on a beautiful old map.

This print measures 17 x 17cm. We have a wide range of these prints covering many iconic buildings, monuments and statues from around our beautiful area of East Lothian, as well many famous landmarks from Scotland and the wider UK. A set of 4 framed Old Map Silhouettes hanging in a square formation (2 x 2) is a very striking design statement to enhance any wall, as are 3 (or 5) hanging side by side. See also our Old Map Collections - a number of Old Map prints together in the one frame.
