Corbridge Bridge

This is a giclée print of the silhouette of the Corbridge bridge, a 17th-century stone bridge across River Tyne by Corbridge, Northumberland. Hopefully the builder got extra plaudits following the famous flood of 1771, as his was the only bridge on the whole of the River Tyne to withstand the force of the water.

These prints are created by firstly outlining the historical monument to create a silhouette, and then layering that artwork over a section of the specified area on a beautiful old map.

This print measures 17 x 17cm. We have a wide range of these prints covering many iconic buildings, monuments and statues from around our beautiful area of East Lothian, as well many famous landmarks from Scotland and the wider UK. A set of 4 framed Old Map Silhouettes hanging in a square formation (2 x 2) is a very striking design statement to enhance any wall, as are 3 (or 5) hanging side by side.
