Old Golf Course St Andrews

This is a giclée print of a grey & black silhouette of The Old Golf Course at St Andrews. The short, sturdy stone bridge across the Swilken Burn might be unremarkable anywhere else, but because it's at St Andrews, it has become a touchstone for every golfer fortunate enough to experience the Old Course. Masons built it so shepherds could move their sheep and cattle across the Swilken Burn that meanders through, what are now the first and 18th fairways of the famed Old Course, on their way to the North Sea.

These prints are created by firstly outlining the historical monument to create a silhouette, and then layering that artwork over a section of the specified area on a beautiful old map.

This print measures 17 x 17cm. We have a wide range of these prints covering many iconic buildings, monuments and statues from around our beautiful area of East Lothian, as well many famous landmarks from Scotland and the wider UK. A set of 4 framed Old Map Silhouettes hanging in a square formation (2 x 2) is a very striking design statement to enhance any wall, as are 3 (or 5) hanging side by side.
